Speaker Series: Walid Sadek

  • Beirut Art Salon Zico House Beirut Lebanon (map)

Walid Sadek is a professor of Studio Arts and Chair of Fine Arts Department at the American University of Beirut.

As part of "Talent Unbound", the Beirut Art Salon exhibition, Walid will share his journey from having a political cartoonist as a father to being a sculptor in the aftermath of the Lebanese civil war. Because the civil war is part of our history and identity, the conversation will be a wondrous way to revisit the past and explore ourselves through art.
